Build · priced per site

AI web design: a website that search engines and AI assistants can read.

We design and build the site with the AI-assisted method we developed for our own work. It is set up for Google, Bing, and the AI assistants people now ask, and your staff get an editor made for what they change. The site runs in your own Microsoft cloud account.

In one sentence

We build your website, keep it found in search and AI answers, and give your staff a simple editor.

What this work involves

A company website now has two kinds of reader. People still search Google and Bing, but more of them ask an AI assistant and read the answer it gives. A site built only for people, or only for one search engine, is invisible to part of the audience it was paid to reach.

We design and build each site with an AI-assisted development method we developed for our own work. AI coding agents write and revise the code under written project rules that fix the brand, the approved copy, and what must never be published. Every change passes automated tests and accessibility checks, and a person reviews the result before it ships.

Search management is part of the build, not an extra. Every page gets its own title, description, and canonical address. The site gets a sitemap, robots rules, and structured data that tells search engines what the business is, where it works, and what it offers. For AI search, sometimes called AEO or GEO, an llms.txt file describes each page in plain language for the assistants that read it.

After launch we keep it found. We submit the site to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools and check which pages each one has indexed. When pages change we notify Bing through IndexNow, and each month we report clicks, searches, and positions in plain language.

Each site also gets a custom editor, built for the things your staff actually change: hours, closings, events, menus, job openings, and the messages that arrive through the site's forms. Staff sign in with their Microsoft work accounts, so there are no separate passwords, and the editor is kept out of search engines.

Who does what

You keep your team, and we take this part.

  • You — Own the website, the content, and the cloud account it runs in, and approve every page before it goes live.
  • Your staff — Keep hours, events, menus, jobs, and closings current in the editor, and answer the form messages.
  • Third Shift — Design and build the site and editor, set up and manage search and AI answers, and report each month.
  • Google, Bing, and AI assistants — Read the site and decide what to show. We make it easy for them to read; we do not control them.

Who it is for

A fit when

  • Organizations whose website was built once and has not been looked after since
  • Teams that call a developer every time an hour, event, or job posting changes
  • Owners who want the company to appear when customers ask an AI assistant

Scope

What it is not

  • Not a theme bought and reskinned. Each site and its editor are built for that organization
  • Not a promise of a ranking. Google, Bing, and the AI assistants decide what they show
  • Not paid advertising, and not your email, computers, or help desk. Those stay with your team or MSP

Questions

Questions about ai web design

What does it mean that the website is built with AI?

AI coding agents write and revise the code under written rules we set for each project: the brand, the copy that may not change, and what must never be published. Automated tests and accessibility checks run on every change, and a person reviews each result. The copy is yours, approved by you, not generated filler.

What are AEO and GEO, and why do they matter?

Both names describe the same goal: being the source an AI assistant reads and cites when someone asks about your kind of business. It rests on clear pages, structured data, and an llms.txt guide. No one can guarantee a mention, but a site that is easy to read is the one assistants can use.

Can our staff update the website without calling a developer?

Yes, for the things that change often. Each site gets an editor built for that organization, covering items such as hours, closings, events, menus, job postings, and form messages. Staff sign in with their Microsoft work accounts. Larger changes to design or page structure are scoped with us.

Who owns the website, and where is it hosted?

You own the website, its content, and the code. It runs in your own Microsoft cloud account, under your name, so the hosting and the data stay with you if the engagement with Third Shift ends.
