Two managers reviewing a laptop in a site office overlooking a supply yard with delivery trucks

One sign-in for the fleet, the plants, and the fixed-asset register.

Plant, fleet, and finance data sat in four separate systems and a spreadsheet asset register. Leaders had no single view of fleet efficiency, asset value, or truck condition.

The work

What we built, and why

The problem

The company runs a large network of plants and yards across its region. Each part of the business kept its own record. Accounting lived in the ERP, the trucks reported to a dispatch and GPS system, and drivers filed inspections in a separate app. Fixed assets were tracked in an aging desktop program that one person knew how to use.

Leadership questions crossed those systems. Which markets are running fewer trips per truck than planned? What is the book value of the delivery fleet? Are the daily inspections real? Each answer took a request to a different person and a spreadsheet stitched together by hand.

What we built

The applications assessment came first and set the order. The fixed-asset register went first because it had a single point of failure. The register now runs in the dashboard with its own depreciation engine, imports, and reports.

Freight efficiency, logistics, margin, and labor followed as separate apps behind the same sign-in. Each app has its own roles, so a plant manager sees their plants and finance sees the ledger. The inspection-photo check was the last piece. AI reads each photo against the driver's answer, and a person decides every flag.

Everything runs in the client's own Azure tenant under their own sign-in rules. The company owns the code, the data, and the subscription.

The screens

What the people using it see.

Drawn illustrations with sample figures. They show the layout and the measures, not the client's data.

Freight efficiency. The daily view for operations managers: which markets are behind their trip goal and which trucks have sat idle.
Fixed assets. The asset register finance moved to from the desktop program, with depreciation calculated in the dashboard and forecast forward.
Inspection exceptions. AI compares each inspection photo with the driver's answer. A reviewer confirms or dismisses every flag before a work order is raised.

The result

What changed

Finance closed the month from the new register instead of the desktop program. Operations managers now start the day from one fleet view, and inspection photos that do not match a pass are caught the same week.

Start with a written assessment.

Each of these projects was scoped from an assessment of the systems the company already ran. The assessment is yours to keep either way.
