Four systems held the monthly answers. A question that crossed two of them became an export and a spreadsheet, and a missing feed could look like a zero.

The problem
Finance lived in one system, fundraising in another, clinical records in a third, and payroll in a fourth. A question that crossed two of them became an export and a spreadsheet. Leadership wanted one sign-in, with each department seeing its own work.
What we built
The applications assessment set the order. Finance and fundraising connected first, because those answers were needed every month. Clinical activity and payroll followed into the same dashboard. Billing is still being connected. A measure with no feed stays blank, so a missing system never appears as a zero.
People sign in with their company accounts. Finance, clinical, payroll, and leadership each have a role, so a person sees the screens that role allows. Donor names stay off the shared fundraising screens. The dashboard runs in the client's own Microsoft cloud account. The company owns the data.

What changed
Leaders open one dashboard for cash, fundraising, clinical activity, and staffing. A system that is not connected yet stays blank, so it cannot be mistaken for a zero. Billing is the feed still being brought in.
